About the event

There's a little bit of STEM/Food Tech at play here, as well as art. I'm going to make everyone a printing plate out of gelatin. They have such a weird feeling to them because they're basically Aeroplane Jelly but I wouldn't recommend eating them. But I will think about adding some fragrance when I make them because otherwise they smell a bit...weird.

Once you get past that part, you've got a slab that you can pop some ink down on, draw in it, stick things to it, and then pop some fabric or paper over the top and you've got a single unique print! We'll experiment with printing on different materials and what patterns and shapes we can make with tools, found objects, paper cutouts and more.

This class is with: Sara

Suitable for age group: 7 and up

Parent note: yeah this one could get messy. We will wear aprons while we work but I can't guarantee that they won't get ink on them on places the apron isn't.
