About the event

I mean how hard can it be? No seriously, playing the uke is super easy and I've always been disappointed in myself for not learning to play by now.

Jackie on the other hand is a total Wonder Woman type, sings like a star, and LOVES ukuleles. She's even organising a ukulele jamboree in Launceston in 2021! She used to teach uke to kids at the Steiner School and she holds adult uke groups at her place (as well as private lessons) so she's more than qualified to get a group of our kids playing a song after 3 weeks.

If you have a ukulele of your own, bring it along. Otherwise we will have a few available to borrow for class. But you can pick them up at Barrett's Music for pretty cheap if you think the kids will stick with it.

SPECIAL NOTE: This is a recurring class - when you register, you're paying for three 1 hour sessions with Jackie at the studio. So Friday 15th Jan, 22nd Jan, and 29th Jan from 1pm-2pm.

This class is with: Jackie Anifandis

Suitable for age group: 7 and up
